Avril Lavigne started her professional music career in 2002 at the age of 17 with her first album entitled Let Go and took the world by storm with the hits "Skater Boi" and "Complicated" that same year. Other hits on the album include "Losing Grip" "I'm With You" and "Nobody's Fool".
With a bold attitude and compelling range of vocal styling's, this artist sold millions of copies of her debut album and holds the record for best selling album by a female artist in that year.
In 2004 the artist released her second album called Under My Skin.
With this album this astounding artist helped to shape the lives of many adoring fans by pouring her heart out to an audience of millions .
She also took a slightly different approach on this album from the bubble-gum Goth-pop of her first album.

It was during these years that the artist expanded her career from just being a musician by performing in the 2006 Over The Hedge animated movie by DreamWorks Animation.
She also appeared in Richard Linklater's movie Fast Food Nation later that year. It was also in 2006 that she married long time boyfriend, Deryck Whibley of the band Sum 41.
2007 brought forth the artists 3rd album entitled The Best Damn Thing. This album awed audiences with music that only this star could deliver.
With punchy new tracks, this album really trimmed the baby fat off of this artists career. Showcased in this album are the songs "Girlfriend", "Hot", "The Best Damn Thing", and "When Your Gone".
With this album, the artists compassionate lyrics and poppy rock cuts helped re-define her already definitive status. Since she first started selling records she has stood out from the norm of other rising divas of the time. Instead of purely focusing on seductive selling,

Avril is one of those artists that just grab your attention. Some like her, other’s don’t. She has always been in the public eye whether it’s with her music or her acting career.
